The Bible is God’s Word to all men. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error, relevant to contemporary society, and carries power to impart faith in life.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105, 160; Psalm 19:7-11; Proverbs 30:5; Hebrews 4:12; Romans 10:17
God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities revealed to us as: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Genesis 1:1, 26-27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He is both true God and true man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the Cross in our place, and after three days, He rose again. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and will return again to Earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-4, 14; John 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Matthew 24:30; Revelation 1:7; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; Titus 2:13
The Holy Spirit is equal with The Father and The Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power available to every believer subsequent to conversion. We believe in the present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit through the believers by the manifestation of His gifts.
2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; John 14:16-17, 26; John 15:26; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16, 12:7-11, 28; Ephesians 1:13, 5:18, 4:7-16; Galatians 5:22-25; Luke 24:49; Acts 2:4; Romans 12:6-8
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sinful nature by self-improvement or good works. Man can only be saved by trusting in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. The new birth and eternal life begin the moment one believes in Jesus Christ by confession of faith in His life, death, and resurrection. The gift of salvation also includes total prosperity — spirit, soul, and body.
Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1; Romans 10:9-10
We believe in the power and significance of the local church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for discipleship, fellowship, prayer, and the breaking of bread.
We believe in the “Great Commission” of our Lord Jesus Christ, who commands us to go into all the world and win the lost and make disciples. Outreach and discipleship are mandatory actions of the believer in building His church.
Matthew 28:16-20; Matthew 16:15; Mark 16:16; Luke 14:23; Acts 1:8
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with God is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
John 3:16; 1 John 2:25, 5:11-13; Acts 24:15; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; Matthew 18:8, 25:44-46; Daniel 12:2
